I offer a full pipeline of music services built specifically for musical theatre creators, from a blank page to a performance-ready score. I write original music for musical theatre across a huge range of styles, like the contemporary pop-rock of Dear Evan Hansen, the bright, hyper-theatrical energy of Legally Blonde, the soaring scale of Wicked, or something more unexpected like the brass-band world of Brassed Off. I can write whatever the moment on stage calls for, from an intimate character number to a full ensemble showstopper.
Even if you don't have a finished script yet, it's never too early to start writing the music! I fully agree with Stephen Schwartz that the music and stage must work together from the start.

Whether you're starting from an existing song that needs reshaping for a new ensemble, or a finished piano/vocal score ready to become a full pit arrangement, I handle the orchestration from the ground up. This is where the writing decides which instruments carry the melody, how harmony gets voiced and balanced across the ensemble, and where the texture should thin out or bloom to serve the drama on stage. The goal is a sound that feels deliberate and idiomatic to each instrument, not just a mockup translated into notation, no matter the instrumentation.

Your cast and band deserve parts they can actually read at a glance: clear spacing, accurate dynamics and articulations, proper formatting. I prepare professional-grade full scores and individual parts so that rehearsals go faster, performers aren't fighting the page, and your pit musicians will compliment the readability of the score. This also includes Piano/Vocals, Librettos, Keyboard/Conductor parts, and whatever other layout you might need.
