I offer a full range of music services for ensembles, filmmakers, and performers who need custom, professionally prepared music. Whether you need a piece written from scratch, an existing song reimagined for a new ensemble, or a finished score cleaned up and formatted for print, I can take a project from concept to final copy.

Composition

I write original music across a range of contexts, with experience composing for film orchestras, writing for reduced pit ensembles in musical theatre, and many other unique and reduced ensembles. This range means I can adapt to the scale and character your project needs, from an intimate theatrical underscore to a full symphonic cue.

Arranging

My strongest arranging work is taking existing songs and reshaping them for small ensembles (my favourite is brass quartet), balancing the original's identity with what's practical and idiomatic for the instruments at hand. If you have a song that needs a new setting for your group, I can adapt it so it sounds natural and performable, not just transcribed. With my experience playing lots of different instruments in various ensembles, including ones with unique and quirky instrumentation, I can write parts that work for the instruments and ensembles themselves, not just for a digital mockup.

Orchestration

Orchestration is where a composition becomes a living, breathing ensemble sound. Deciding which instruments carry the melody, how harmony gets voiced across sections, and where texture should thin out or bloom. I can turn a piece from a simple sketch or Piano/Vocal to a full orchestral arrangement, with an ear for balance, idiomatic writing for each instrument, and clarity that survives the transition from page to recording session or stage.

Engraving & Music Preparation

Clear, professional parts let performers focus on the music instead of deciphering the page. I prepare scores and parts with careful spacing, accurate articulations and dynamics, and formatting built for readability at a glance. With experience performing in live bands, orchestras, musical theatre, and much more, I have first-hand experience in what is needed for a readable part.
