Nothing is ever lost. It's just not found yet.
DO NOT x chase x call-out to him/use his name x or approach
Though these are instinctual reactions, they are often harmful and can be fatal. These actions can trigger a dog that is lost as they are in survival mode.
DO CALL US/TEXT US IMMEDIATELY with the following information
o the time and place you saw him o direction headed o try to get a picture/video
Save a copy of his flyer into your phone and our numbers for easy reference.
He is a SMALL dog. His breed is Alaskan Klee Kai which is basically like a husky that got hit with a shrink ray. He is about the size of a cat.
He was last seen still wearing the teal/black harness shown in the flyer to the left.
For more information about what to do when you see a stray/lost dog, please reference calming signals.
He was potentially seen by someone on the evening of March 18th, 2023 on the corner of James M Wood Blvd & Francisco St in downtown Los Angeles. The dog seen was approximately the same size as Storm with similar markings. Additionally the dog was wearing the same harness as the one Storm was wearing the night he went missing.
The people the dog were with were described as a middle age couple, women lighter skinned, dark curly hair in a pony tail, slightly heavy set, possibly hispanic. As it was night they did not get a complete description. They were on rental scooters, around 8 or 9pm at night.
We don't want to assume this person has our dog but we would like to confirm if this could be Storm or if it is a different dog completely. If you know anyone who would of been in that area that night or is regularly in that area with a Klee Kai please reach out to use with information so we can validate the potential sighting. We also understand that it has been nearly 2 years since Storm went missing so his markings could change with age, as well as fur quality.
He was last seen by someone on the evening of his escape (Aug 28) going west on the sidewalk on S. Dearborn St. in front of the Goodwill. He was still wearing his teal/black harness and it was around 9:30PM.
There was a pre-season Hawks game at Lumen field that night. It was against the LA Chargers. If you know anyone who went to that game, worked the game, or perhaps was in the area for the game, please ask them if they remember seeing anything. It was about halfway through the 4th quarter when he was seen in front of the Goodwill on S. Dearborn St.
