FIND SUCCESS AND HAPPINESS
What will happen if your wish comes true?
There are two outcomes:
Success, which is extrinsic/external, is defined by what you want your legacy to be
Happiness, which is intrinsic/internal, is a deep sense of inner peace
Success and happiness are universal needs yet they are individually defined.
Thus, in this section we will define what success and happiness mean to us.

In her popular Science of Well-Being class, Yale professor Dr. Laurie Santos shares six things that we think will make us happy that don't, and five things that we don't think will make us happy but do:
Things we think will make us happy but don't:
Lots of money
Good job
True love
Awesome stuff
Perfect grades
Perfect body
Things we don't think will make us happy but do:
Acts of kindness
Using our strengths
Savoring pleasurable moments
Making connections with strangers
Remembering what we're grateful for
Engaging in meditative activities; being in "the zone"

Inspired by Brad's story about Miss Spicer, this extra credit helps you practice the simple act of kindness of giving thanks.
Think about someone who has impacted your life in a positive way. Text or call them right now to say thank you. Don't just say, "Thank you!" Instead, be specific and tell them exactly what they did that changed your life.
First, think of someone who helped you out e.g.,
A mentor whose advice helped you
A friend who always knows exactly what to say to you
A family member who was there for you during a difficult time
A coworker who gave you feedback that you still think about today
A social media acquaintance who posted a comment that made you think differently
Then, follow these instructions:
Take out your phone
Find that person in your contacts or on social media
Click "Call" or Open up a message box
Start with "Thank you..."
And then finish the sentence with the specific thing they did/do for you and how it impacted you.
Unfortunately, obstacles are inevitable, and what sets apart dreamers from doers is calling them out and preparing for them.
