Until today (1/31/26), I did not own a camera flash (well maybe one a long time ago). Today I paid just $20 for 3 Nikon Speedlight SB-24 camera flashes.

Found this one at my parents home. It is currently, NOT a functioning flash. I do hope to get it working but not hopeful.

This is a nice compact flash, When I initially placed a battery in it it showed no sign of life. The charge light did not glow. I tried the manual ignite button. Nothing. Took it apart, and got a little jolt and noticed the light was on. Put it back together and the light no longer illuminated but the flash did go off when the button was pressed.
Found this today (3/2/26) while searching my parents house for old film cameras. This was all I found.
P.S. This may be the one I owned long ago!
