This was a camera I found when we were clearing out my wife's parent's home prior to the sale of their family home. Technically, I do not think this is a 35mm format camera. This camera used a proprietary film format created by Kodak called Kodak Advantix film (sadly an Obsolete format).
Lens: Kodak Aspheric Zoom Lens 27-80mm 3.0x
Flash: Built-in flip up flash (no hot shoe)
Serial #: 8008112
Battery: 123 Lithium Battery 3V (CR17345)
Manufacture location: Indonesia
Features: Titles, Date, Wide Screen (panoramic)
In an interesting discovery, today (2/12/26) I found a partially completed roll of film in this camera. This film has been in the camera for quite a while. Not sure if my local developer can process this film. Also, I have to take a couple of more shots to end the roll.
Update: I finished the roll today (2/27/28) taking the last two pictures on Signal Hill with my beautiful wife in each shot. (Note: Also took B&W shots using my Minolta X-700). Dropped the film off to Newfoundland Camera Imaging. Fingers are crossed that I get some decent pictures any hopefully a couple of mystery frames taken my my in-laws! Time will tell.
Kodak Advantix C800
This camera came with a partially shot (#1-17) shown below as 1990's Kodak APS 200 Film (Rescan). I finished the roll (#18-25) in 2026 seen below as APS FIlm 2026. I have also used Gemini A.I. to improve upon the quality of these images. The 1990's pictures are much better than the ones I shot in 2026.
