Multimedia
I created this multimedial work starting from the concept of aeviternity, the midpoint between time and eternity. The macroformal level of the piece is textural, a continuum of audio materials subjected to various kinds of processing: alteration of time and pitch, delay, filtering, modulation, and peculiar types of reverberation to better discern the juxtapositions of different sound lines.
The visual material is composed of natural elements (leaves, trees, earth, clouds), heavily manipulated, so as to recreate a canvas of colors fused together and in constant movement. The work fluctuates in suspended time, a Dantesque limbo, dark and hazy.
(Im)mobilitas is a work on living matter intended as an objective natural element, but also as fragments of time; that which is mutating, changing. I am interested in highlighting, somehow, the peculiarities of images (simultaneously perceived as static and in motion) and their interrelationships with the dinamicity of time. Shaping natural universes by structuring them in an evolving system containing varied temporal trends within.

Nothing in this project is left to randomness.
Its every aspect is strictly dictated by a logical-mathematical procedure that generates:
Tempo / Dynamics / Musical Note Duration / Pitch Note / Octave
