Our Strategic Alliance: FSNA-UK and FINC Partnership
The Filipino Informatics Nursing Collaborative (FINC) operates as the specialised Digital Informatics Arm of the Filipino Senior Nurses Association-UK (FSNA-UK). While functioning independently to drive technical and informatics initiatives, FINC remains fully integrated and strategically aligned with FSNA-UK’s overarching mission and objectives. Together, we bridge clinical excellence with digital leadership.
A Shared Mission: FSNA-UK holds a vital role in providing national leadership, representation, and robust support for Filipino nurses.
Partnership
FSNA-UK's Stewardship: Plays a critical, long-standing role in providing national leadership, clinical representation, and executive support for Filipino nurses across the United Kingdom.
A Dedicated Focus: FINC was established within this framework to specifically focus on connecting, developing, and empowering Filipino nurses within the rapidly evolving landscape of digital health and nursing informatics.
Strategic Alignment: This formal integration ensures that as FINC independently builds specialised informatics networks, it actively strengthens and extends FSNA-UK’s national leadership directly into the digital healthcare space and beyond.
Purpose
Leadership: Strengthen Filipino nurse leadership in digital health and informatics.
Workforce Capability: Build robust capacity through targeted education, professional mentorship, and defined career pathways.
Visibility & Equity: Increase distinct Filipino representation in high-level digital health leadership and policymaking spaces.
Global Connection: Foster collaborative networks linking the UK, the Philippines, and the wider global Filipino nursing community.
