Olá!    Hello!    ¡Hola!    Kia ora!

I am an interdisciplinary applied ecologist researching the drivers and consequences of environmental changes in tropical ecosystems.

My work focuses on understanding human-nature relationships to inform decision-making, policy and practices in tropical regions. To achieve this, I have investigated the consequences of human activities (e.g. selective logging and wildfires) and climate-related stressors (e.g. ENSO-induced droughts and associated fires) on tropical biodiversity and ecosystem functioning.

You can read more about my background (including contact details), publications, CV and public outreach activities on this website.
