My name is Mrs Cristi Lehy. I am the Grade One teacher at Fig Tree. I have been involved at the school when it first began over 8 years ago and then I went to live in the Middle East and later Western Cape. I am pleased to be back after all this time and see how the school has grown and developed. It is a joy to witness. I am excited to be teaching Grade 1 and gaining new knowledge and skills with these magnificent children. They are each champions and I look forward to drawing out the best in each of them. I love Jesus and I trust that overflows into my class. I believe teaching needs to be learner focused and keeping education fun and discover based. I aim to do my best and trust God will do the rest. My name is Mr Lehy. I am so proud to be part of the Fig Tree team where family and nurturing are the focus. I have completed my Masters in Education where I researched the benefits of Small Classes like the ones we have here at Fig Tree. I also have my Honours in Education where I focussed on Education Leadership and I researched the benefits of a Christian Based Education. My main joy is having a solid Bible lesson and seeing God move in the school.
I feel absolutely blessed with the environment we get to be in everyday at Fig Tree and love what we offer with my own two children also attending school here.
