Fig Tree also caters up to Grade 12. We use a special hybrid model of online work in the safety of a normal classroom. In our high school, learners work on their own laptops through lessons and assessments provided by an online educational platform. Besides working online, our learners still get weekly skills lessons, art classes, phys ed and agricultural skills lessons. This gives them the academic pros of an online platform with the social skills development of a regular classroom. The best of home schooling and traditional schooling rolled into one. 

As we are flexible with the online platform choice, our learners from Grade 8 - 12 then have the freedom to choose between the CAPS curriculum, IEB assessments and the GED curriculum. Some of our learners work with the following online platforms (click on the name to view their website):

While each learner has an individually designed programme, we provide the wifi connection and an in person tutor to help support your child in the class with one on one lessons. You make your choice and we support you.
