Four Small Things Not to Be Overlooked
— Venerable Master Hsing Yun
The true treasure of life is not gold or jewels,
but calmness, kindness, and wisdom,
already shining within our hearts.
I often remind people:
Never overlook small things.
A tiny spark can grow into a great flame.
A single drop of water can merge into the vast ocean.
A small child can grow into a great leader.
A young novice, with time and practice,
may one day guide many.
Every small cause carries infinite possibilities.
What seems little today,
with care, encouragement, and respect,
can blossom into something bright tomorrow.
May every child and family be inspired
to discover the treasures within their own hearts,
and to see the greatness hidden in small things.
— Venerable Master Hsing Yun
