Based in Fez, the spiritual heart of Morocco, Hamid specializes in personalized tours of the Medina, souks, artisan workshops, foodie tour and historical monuments. He shares not only the stories of Morocco’s past but also insights into local life, cuisine, and customs, making every visitor feel like a welcomed guest.

After having my B.A.Degree in English literature from the University of Sidi Mohammed Ben Abdellah in Fez in 1995 and had my licence from the Ministry of Tourism to be an official tour guide,I started leading private tours  all over Morocco. I have lead trips in Morocco for many overseas travel companies like UTESS VOYAGES, Active Travel , Heritage tours online , Experience Morocco and Abercrombie and kent etc...

After many years of leading tours across Morocco – from the Sahara Desert to the Atlas Mountains and the Atlantic coast – Hamid Dandane has chosen to return to his roots and focus on his beloved hometown of Fez. With deep knowledge gained from guiding travelers all over the country, Hamid now dedicates himself to arranging authentic local tours within Fez, sharing the city’s hidden gems, centuries-old traditions, and vibrant daily life. His tours combine history, culture, and personal stories, offering visitors not just a walk through the medina, but a true immersion into the spirit of Morocco’s spiritual and cultural capital.
