My main research contributions and interests include Operations Research and Data Science, more specifically on Statistical Methods and Time Series Analysis, including modelling, forecasting and simulation. Most of the applications I have investigated are in Energy, Operations Management and Health Care systems.

I welcome enquiries from potential Master and PhD students in these areas.

I am a Director (elected) of both, the International Institute of Forecasters (IIF) and the Brazilian Operational Research Society (SOBRAPO, 1st Vice President).
