Sunshine Math is designed for students in grades 4-5 who show great interest and ability in mathematics. Students participating are required to have above-average reading comprehension and analytical reasoning capabilities. Also, they are expected to (1) be proficient at doing addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division with decimals and fractions, (2) know basic geometry, (3) have basic number sense and counting skills, and (4) be able to solve word problems, etc.

Math Contest Practices
In class, concepts and theorems will be explored in greater depth with a number of exercises and some well-selected challenging problems. Upon completion of this course, students should be well-prepared to take Algebra I the following year. It is our belief that they will be also ready for all of the middle school math contests appropriate to their grade level.
Tuition (14 sessions, 90 minutes per session): $630.
