This 16-Lecture program (September 08, 2023 – January 26, 2024), is designed for those bright and motivated, but less experienced 5-7 graders who will be the beginners of middle school math contests in the fall of 2023
This extensive, challenging “Topics + Exercise” program provides a great opportunity for those young students to develop positive attitudes towards analytical thinking and passion of problem-solving that can assist in their future careers.
It will cover introductory contest topics that are far beyond in the standard middle school curriculum such as Number Sense, Counting and Probability, Elementary Geometry, Patterns and Sequences, Data & Statistics, Graphs and Tables, Ratio and Proportion, Modular Arithmetic, Functions, Problem Solving … to help students maximize their performance in various middle school competitions, especially, in AMC 8 and MathCounts.
Each lecture will be meticulously prepared trying to meet everyone’s need in a low-stress and friendly environment. With almost sixty years of math teaching experience in China and US, training numerous talented students, we are fully assured of your success through this program of instruction.
AMC 8
Students with a passion for problem-solving who are in grade 8 or below and under 14.5 years of age on the day of the competition are eligible to participate in the AMC 8.

Competition Date: January 18, 2024 to January 24, 2024.
MathCounts
Students enrolled in grades 6-8 are eligible to participate in the MATHCOUNTS Competition Series.
School Register in the fall of 2023; Non-school competitor registration will open in November.
The Chapter competitors will be selected in January 2024
Chapter Competition: February 1-28, 2024
State Competition: March 1 - April 1, 2024
Tuition: $720 (16 sessions, 90 minutes each, No Refund)
Registration: Sunday, August 6 2023 - Sunday, August 20, 2023 at 8:00 pm (ET).
Fridays: 7:30 pm – 9:00 pm (ET) from 09/08/2023 to 01/26/2024.
