If you are interested in working with us on Mechatronics and Design (sensors, actuators, Arduino), Robotics (leg robots, bipedal robot, wheeled robot), Dynamics and Control (nonlinear control), and  Machine Learning. We’d love to hear from you. Please explain how your background fits with these areas, what you would like to do, and why you would like to join RAIL.

There are multiple ways to join us:

• PhD: Please apply to the PhD in Engineering program and name Dr. Feng Han as a supervisor in your application.

• Master Project Research: Semester long independent research opportunity are available for master students through the courses MENG660 and MENG 661.

• Senior Design : Undergraduate students in Mechanical Engineering are welcome to conduct your senior design and final year project at RAIL.

• Internship and Visiting Students: We host interns and students researcher, including undergraduate students, graduate students, and high school students with different backgrounds in semesters and over winter/summer breaks.
