"Masters of grabbing techniques, these Fighters are invincible when it comes to close-quarters combat. They use their strong backs and feminine flexibility to grab and lift their enemies, tossing them as if they weigh nothing. Their Spiral skill that enables them to slam their enemies into the ground from midair looks as magnificent as it is deadly. They strive to maintain their feminine beauty while walking the masculine path of the Fighter."

My Recommended Build
Level Acquired: 15
Recommended Level: MAX
This is your main buff. It increases your attack for basic attacks and grab skills. It also gives you Super Armor during all of your grab animations and gives your grab skills a 100% hit rate so you can never "Miss!" Note: Miss in the sense of the mechanics of the game. You can still physically miss grabs via user error.
Grappler Light Armor Mastery
Automatically acquired when advancing into a Grappler. Increases Strength, Spirit, Max HP, Max MP, MP Recovery, Hit Recovery, Physical Critical Chance, and Physical Defense when you have Light Armor equipped.
Grab Cannon
Level Acquired: 15
Recommended Level: MAX
Makes your Basic Attacks, Dash Attacks, and Jump Attacks scale off of Independent Attack. Also causes your Grabs to do a strike attack if they are immune to grabs.
Level Acquired: 15
Recommended Level: MAX
Enables you to slide during your grab animations to slide toward an enemy and grab them.
Intense Takedown
Level Acquired: 15
Recommended Level: MAX
Increases Basic and Skill Attack as well as the size and damage of the shockwaves of your grabs. Also increases Seismic Crash's attack.
Power Slam
Level Acquired: 20
Recommended Level: MAX
Increases Basic and Grab Skill Attack and also increases Physical Critical Chance.
Grappling Technique
Level Acquired: 35
Recommended Level: MAX
Causes Seismic Crash, Neck Snap, Shoulder Tackle, and Joint Smash to be affected by the buffs of Power Slam, Overwhelming Grab, Grab Mastery, and Chain Grab. It also alters certain skills to allow you to better chain your grabs together. Allows Suplex to be canceled into Elbow Shock. Reduces Elbow Shock's enemy launch strength and decreases its post-cast delay. Keeps enemies downed for a longer duration after Air Steiner. Lets you cancel into Air Steiner or Air Clutch after Spirals slam attack. Causes enemies to bounce off the ground after Air Clutch's slam.
Grab Mastery
Level Acquired: 50
Recommended Level: MAX
First Awakening Passive. Increases Basic and Grab Skill Attack, Physical Critical Chance, Hit Rate, and Evasion Rate during grab animations.
Chain Grab
Level Acquired: 75
Recommended Level: MAX
Second Awakening Passive. Successful grabs cast a buff for 30 seconds increasing your Basic and Grab Skill Attack.
Turn Heel
Level Acquired: 75
Recommended Level: MAX
Alters certain Grab Skills into Attack Skills. Affects Wild Cannon Spike, Cyclone Attack, Giant Swing, and Hurricane Super Plex.
The Ultimate Stable
Level Acquired: 100
Recommended Level: MAX
Neo: Awakening Passive. Increases Basic and Advanced Skill Attack, excluding Suplex and creates additional effects for Suplex and Shoulder Tackle.
Level Acquired: 10
Recommended Level: 1
Not much different from the description on the Home page, but with Grab Cannon the Grappler pushes forward a force shockwave. After Neo: Awakening the Grappler's students will come for an assist. Against grabble enemies Lexy will perform a Moonsault Press, bouncing them off the ground slightly. Against ungrabble enemies Lucy will perform a Drop Kick that extends hold time. Has Invincibility Frames. TP in Suplex will increase its own damage, as well as its shockwave's range and damage.
Level Acquired: 15
Recommended Level: 1
Grabs the enemy and you can hold them in place or throw them in a direction of your choosing by pressing the key again with the arrow keys. Leveling Fling increases the hold time, but in end game content enemies will ignore the hold anyway so it's not worth leveling. With Grab Cannon, the Grappler pushes forward a force shockwave. Even with Grab Cannon you can still do the hold portion. Press the key again to Grab Cannon. Has Invincibility Frames during the throw animation (or the Grab Cannon). During the hold animation it will only have Super Armor. TP in Fling increases its damage.
Chain Connection
Level Acquired: 20
Recommended Level: MAX
Use Chain Connection after Grab Cannons to chain them together or into Neck Snap. This increases hold time and helps you combo all of your skills together. You get 3 stacks and it recharges a stack every 9 seconds. The additional hits from Chain Connection also immobilize enemies. If you're on the ground, then the hit is a shoulder strike. If you're in the air, then you perform a spinning kick. If you hit the key again after the spin, you slam back into the ground. The extra slam doesn't consume a stack. Chain Connections also have Invincibility Frames.
Neck Snap
Level Acquired: 20
Recommended Level: 1
SNAPPIN' NECKS AND CASHIN' CHECKS. There's not much different here compared to the normal Fighter version on the home page. For Grapplers, Neck Snap has a slightly longer immobility duration and its damage scales off Independent Attack. TP in Neck Snap increases its damage.
Shoulder Tackle
Level Acquired: 25
Recommended Level: Preference
A forward slide that shoulder bashes enemies. On contact, can be canceled into non-aerial grab skills or Joint Smash. You can charge it and the longer that you do, the faster it travels and the further you go. At a full charge, it also grants you Super Armor. After Neo: Awakening you'll always have Super Armor and it can also be used in the air to perform a downward dash. Shoulder Tackle's a really good skill, but unfortunately Grappler just doesn't have enough SP to max everything. Therefore, you pretty much pick between Shoulder Tackle or Elbow Shock to max and then SP dump the other one. Personally, I prefer maxing Elbow Shock because I use it way more often. TP in Shoulder Tackle increases its damage and reduces its charge time.
Elbow Shock
Level Acquired: 30
Recommended Level: Preference
Slams your elbow into an enemy and sends them flying. Can also pick up downed enemies. Casts a Grab Cannon against enemies that can't be grabbed. TP in Elbow Shock increases its damage.
Air Steiner
Level Acquired: 30
Recommended Level: 1
Grabs enemies in the air and slams them down into the ground. Enemies that can't be grabbed get kicked off of. If you miss, then the cooldown will only be 1 second instead of its usual cooldown. You can also use it after skills that leave you in the air, like Cyclone Suplex. Has Invincibility Frames during the grab animation as well as during the kick portion of the Grab Cannon. If you don't combo into another grab from the grab cannon, you can be hit in the air during the falling animation. TP in Air Steiner increases its damage.
Joint Smash
Level Acquired: 35
Recommended Level: MAX
Elbows enemies and then jumps up and knees them. If you hold forward, you can dash forward a short distance with the elbow attack. After the knee attack, you can cancel into Tornado Kick or any of the aerial grab skills (including Cyclone Attack and Hurricane Superplex with Turn Heel). TP in Joint Smash increases its damage.

Your choice of Rune will change depending on which skill you want to invest your damage into. You should coordinate this with your Skill Title and your Weapon Avatar, but the colors will always be the same. You want Terra Cotta and Second Pact for the damage increases and Guardians for the Cooldown reduction. For Grappler, Cyclone Suplex and Giant Swing are great choices when combined with Skill Titles and Weapon Avatars. Spiral is another alternative, but it's not as good.
I have a Cyclone Suplex Title.

Please note: These enchants are my suggestions based on what are best, but they won't always be as affordable. Something important to know is that there are Golden Beryl beads for every equipment slot, but personally I only find them worth it for the ones I listed. Also, Nen shouldn't struggle with Critical Rate, but if you do need it, then you can replace your Belt or Shoes enchant with the dual Intelligence/Magical Critical Rate enchants.
