The Essex-class was a class of Frigates built for the United Federation Air Force during the War on Noah [Berg]. The planes were the one of the most mass-produced in the history of the Federation. At there height, there was 37 in service, 13 more than the Spirit of St. Louis-class planes at the time. The first 24 were named after WWII Aircraft Carriers of the Real Life Essex-class.
