I have a strong drive to help people be their best selves. This led me to take on supporting and facilitating roles in a variety of domains, including acting as student representative during my PhD and my MSc, and actively participating in student organisations concerned with diversity and minorities both during my MSc and during my PhD. In my future career, I hope to maintain and expand a friendly and fostering community of colleagues.
I am passionate about the arts, in particular music (more on the listening side, even though I can play the harmonica and basic piano). This led me to choose my MSc in Economics and Management in Arts, Culture, Media, & Entertainment, which subsequently shaped my research interests.
I use Italian and English on a daily basis, but I can also speak basic French and German, and a little Japanese.
I regularly swim and like to play volleyball, besides hanging out with friends and with my partner. I love travelling (especially toward warm weather) both to discover new places and to re-appreciate the ones I already love, even more so after being constrained by the Covid pandemic. I have been taking care of fish since my PhD days in Hong Kong and look forward to having the life stability that would allow adopting one or few cats!
