Introduction

Our Mission:

Advanced Recon Commandos (ARC Troopers) are elite clone soldiers within the Grand Army of the Republic, renowned for their exceptional skills and versatility. Handpicked from standard clone ranks, they undergo rigorous training to handle high-risk missions that demand autonomy and precision. Within Rancor Battalion, ARC Troopers often work in tandem with Advanced Recon Force (ARF) Troopers, who specialize in reconnaissance and battlefield intelligence. Rancor ARF Troopers conduct scouting operations ahead of the main force, providing critical data on enemy movements and terrain conditions, which allows ARC Troopers to execute strategic assaults with maximum efficiency. This coordination between ARC and ARF Troopers within Rancor Battalion ensure that missions were carried out with both tactical foresight and elite combat execution, making them a formidable force during the Clone Wars.

Training and Selection:
ARC Troopers are selected based on their distinguished performance and potential for independent action. Some are identified during their cadet training on Kamino, while others earn their position through exemplary service on the battlefield. This selection process ensures that only the most capable clones undertake the demanding role of an ARC Trooper.

ARF troopers are selected by demonstrating exceptional skills in agility, observation, and combat during basic training, leading to selection for specialized reconnaissance training. This training includes advanced tactics in long-range scouting, survival, and operating fast vehicles like BARC speeders. After completing their training, ARF troopers are assigned to elite units like Rancor Battalion, where they support reconnaissance and combat operations alongside ARC troopers.

Roles and Responsibilities:
ARC Troopers serve in various capacities, often leading standard clone units, conducting deep reconnaissance missions, and executing operations that require a high degree of precision and autonomy. Their training enables them to handle situations beyond the capabilities of regular clone troopers, making them invaluable assets in critical missions.

Rancor ARF troopers include conducting reconnaissance missions to gather intelligence on enemy positions and movements, often operating ahead of main forces. They provide critical battlefield support by assessing terrain, tracking enemy forces, and relaying vital information back to command. ARF troopers are also responsible for operating BARC speeders, allowing them to quickly navigate various terrains for scouting and rapid engagement. Additionally, they assist in combat operations by providing fire support, coordinating with ARC troopers, and ensuring the success of Republic missions through tactical intelligence and battlefield adaptability. 

Rancor Information:
The Rancor Battalion was a distinguished unit within the Grand Army of the Republic, comprising elite clone troopers, including Advanced Recon Commandos (ARCs) and Advanced Recon Force (ARF) troopers. This battalion played a pivotal role during the Clone Wars, particularly in the defense of Kamino.

ARF troopers are specialized scouts trained for reconnaissance and stealth missions. Within the Rancor Battalion, these troopers were easily identifiable by the maroon and grayish-blue markings on their helmets and arms. Their armor was designed for increased mobility and often customized to blend into specific environments, enhancing their effectiveness in covert operations.
