When the requested item(s) are not available, GUI will prompt you to offer an alternative item.
Instructions
Select the color that is Out of Stock. Alternative items will auto populate in GUI when applicable
Details
This is used to facilitate the successful completion of the sale.
GUI will provide a notification when no alternative items are offered
Alternative items will generate with similar color or styles
Offering Alternative Items is a job requirement
Suggested scripting:
“I’m sorry Mrs. Jones, the item is not available in the color and size you are requesting, however if you turn to page 2, I have a beautiful V-necks shirt that is similar in color you may like”
“I apologize Mr. Garcia; the item seems to be completely out of stock now, but I do see we have a similar item on page 7 for you. Take a look and see if this is something you would prefer.
“It appears that the item was extremely popular and has sold out. We have a similar item that our customers love as well. Look on page 27 and let me know if you love it too.”
