FAQ

The Gothic can take many forms. For our purposes, the Gothic includes any work that explores the darker side of humanity (and perhaps even the beauty that can be found there). Classic Gothic literature shares roots with the Romantic movement and usually includes things like wealthy families, haunted houses, forbidden romance, and the supernatural, but the Gothic genre has since evolved into something more expansive. We will accept many kinds of Gothic work; our only requirement is that you are able to describe to use what makes your work Gothic.

Yes! We believe that everybody deserves to hear back about the work that they put time and effort into submitting, so we will do our best to contact everybody who submits!

Unfortunately, we are run by a very (very) small team and cannot afford to pay our contributors. However, this does keep submissions free for everyone!
