Familydeck ("we", "our", "us") is developed by Yassine Hammouti. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use the Familydeck mobile application ("the App").
By using the App, you agree to the practices described in this policy.
1. Information We Collect
a) Information You Provide
• Profile Name: A display name you choose during setup. Stored locally on your device only. Never transmitted to our servers.
b) Information Collected Automatically
• Purchase Receipts: When you make an in-app purchase, Apple sends an anonymized transaction receipt to our payment processor (RevenueCat) to validate your subscription status. This does not include your name, email, or payment details.
• Anonymous Identifiers: RevenueCat generates a random, anonymous user ID to manage your subscription. This ID cannot be linked to your identity.
• Device Notification Token: If you enable push notifications, Apple assigns a device token to deliver local reminders. This token stays on your device and is not sent to any external server.
c) Information We Do NOT Collect
• We do not collect your name, email address, phone number, or physical address
• We do not collect precise or coarse location data
• We do not collect photos, contacts, or health data
• We do not use advertising identifiers (IDFA)
• We do not track you across other apps or websites
• We do not use analytics or crash reporting services
• We do not display advertisements
2. How We Use Information
We use the limited information described above solely to:
• Display your chosen name within the App
• Save your game progress locally on your device
• Validate your subscription or purchase status
• Deliver local notification reminders (if you opt in)
We do not use your information for advertising, profiling, or any purpose unrelated to the core functionality of the App.
3. Third-Party Services
The App uses the following third-party services:
• Apple App Store: Processes all purchases and subscriptions. Apple receives your payment information directly. We never see or store your payment details.

• RevenueCat: Manages subscription validation. RevenueCat receives an anonymous app user ID and Apple purchase receipts. RevenueCat does not receive your name, email, or any personally identifiable information.

We do not use any other third-party SDKs, analytics tools, crash reporters, or advertising networks.
4. Data Sharing
We do not sell, rent, trade, or share your personal information with any third parties for marketing, advertising, or any other purpose.
The only data shared with third parties is the anonymous purchase receipt sent to RevenueCat for subscription validation, as described in Section 3.
5. Data Retention
• Local Data (profile name, game progress, preferences): Retained on your device until you reset it in the App or delete the App.
• RevenueCat Data (anonymous user ID, purchase receipts): Retained by RevenueCat according to their data retention policy. You may request deletion by contacting us.
• We do not maintain any servers that store your personal data.
6. Data Security
We protect your information through the following measures:
• All data is stored locally on your device, protected by your device's built-in security (passcode, Face ID, Touch ID).
• All network communications with Apple and RevenueCat use industry-standard TLS/SSL encryption.
• We do not operate external servers, databases, or cloud storage for user data.
7. Children's Privacy
Familydeck is a family-friendly app suitable for all ages. We comply with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and similar regulations:
• We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 (or under 16 in the EU).
• All data is stored locally on the device and is never transmitted to external servers.
• We do not display behavioral advertising or track children.
• If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, please contact us and we will promptly delete it.
8. Your Rights
Depending on your location, you may have the following rights:
For All Users:
• Access: View your data directly within the App (Settings screen).
• Deletion: Delete all data using "Reset all progress" in Settings, or by uninstalling the App.
• Opt-out of Notifications: Disable notifications via iOS Settings > Familydeck > Notifications.
For European Users (GDPR):
• Right of access, rectification, erasure, and data portability.
• Right to restrict or object to processing.
• Right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
• Lawful basis for processing: Legitimate interest (subscription validation) and consent (notifications).
For California Users (CCPA):
• Right to know what personal information is collected.
• Right to request deletion of personal information.
• Right to non-discrimination for exercising your rights.
• We do not sell personal information. We do not share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.

9. App Tracking Transparency
Familydeck does not track you across other companies' apps or websites. We do not use the Identifier for Advertisers (IDFA). Therefore, the App does not display an App Tracking Transparency (ATT) prompt.
10. International Data Transfers
Since all personal data is stored locally on your device, no international data transfers occur. The anonymous subscription validation data processed by RevenueCat may be processed in the United States. RevenueCat maintains appropriate safeguards for such transfers.
11. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised policy.
