In March, we packed our bags and set off on an adventure to Singapore, hoping to catch the perfect weather for sightseeing and exploration. And boy, did we hit the jackpot! The sunny skies and mild temperatures made every day a joy to be out and about.

We found fantastic deals on flights that made the journey smooth and affordable. As we landed at Changi Airport, the kids were wide-eyed with excitement, and the seniors were thrilled to be starting this new chapter of travel tales. Our ride from the airport to the hotel was filled with chatter about the adventures awaiting us.

Singapore's public transport system made it super easy to explore the city. We used the MRT (Mass Rapid Transit) for most of our travels, which was convenient and efficient. The buses were also a great option, especially for reaching areas not directly accessible by MRT. For shorter distances, we loved walking around and occasionally took taxis for comfort, especially for the seniors.

Marina Bay Sands: The highlight of our stay with luxurious rooms and a view to die for.

Snooze Inn: Cozy and comfortable, perfect for a good night’s sleep after a day of adventures.

Rucksack Inn: A budget-friendly option with a friendly atmosphere and great amenities.

Marina Bay Sands: Staying at Marina Bay Sands was like living in a dream. The view from the infinity pool left everyone, from the seniors to the little ones, speechless.

Gardens by the Bay: The futuristic supertrees and beautiful gardens were a hit. The Flower Dome had everyone snapping photos, especially Aunties, who insisted on taking a picture with every single flower.

Sentosa Island: Sentosa was a playground for all ages. Fun-packed days with beaches, theme parks, and more. The kids loved Universal Studios, and aunties couldn't resist the beach.

Night Safari at the Singapore Zoo: Seeing nocturnal animals in their natural habitats was incredible. The kids were fascinated, though, and kept asking if they could keep a bat as a pet.

Shopping at Orchard Road: Orchard Road was a shopping paradise. The kids were thrilled with the toy stores, while the seniors found joy in the cozy cafes. 

Exploring Chinatown and Little India: Chinatown and Little India offered rich cultural experiences. Aunties tried to haggle for a souvenir but ended up paying more, saying it was "all part of the fun." The food stalls had us all in culinary heaven, especially when some attempted to eat with chopsticks and ended up using them as drumsticks instead.

Chili Crab: Known for its spicy and savory sauce, chili crab is a beloved Singaporean dish. The fresh, succulent crab meat paired with the rich sauce makes it an unforgettable culinary experience.

Hainanese Chicken Rice: This iconic dish is simple yet incredibly flavorful. Tender poached chicken served with fragrant rice, accompanied by garlic chili and ginger sauces, makes it a comfort food for locals and visitors alike.

Laksa: A fragrant and spicy noodle soup, laksa is a fusion of Chinese and Malay flavors. The rich coconut broth, combined with noodles, prawns, and tofu, offers a comforting and satisfying meal.

Roxy's Wig Adventure: At the boarding gate, Roxy was wearing a wig. When asked by the immigration officer to remove it, the officer looked so awkward and struggled to hold back his laughter. Roxy’s bold fashion statement certainly left an impression!

Elevator Emergency: One of the seniors accidentally pressed the emergency button in the elevator. The entire ride down was filled with nervous chatter as everyone feared an officer might be waiting for them in the lobby. Luckily, there was no one there, and the culprit never confessed!

Madame Tussauds Fun: Some family members had a blast at Madame Tussauds, pretending to be Audrey Hepburn's boyfriend for a photo. The kids even thought it was the real Audrey and asked for her autograph!
