We know a tree by its fruits, and a culture by its furniture.  A piece of furniture that simply looks like it will last generations is not necessarily one that will last generations.   

So what's the difference?

The difference can't always be seen, but it's real.  The difference is in the attention to detail, the selection of the wood, the hand cut joinery, and most importantly in the love for a life that outlasts our own.
