The dining table in these pictures is 12' x 4' and made using solid cherry wood. The top is 1-3/4" thick. It has haunched tenon bread board ends to keep the top flat. The base is constructed using only mortise and tenon joinery with draw bore walnut pins.
This table will last generations!

The farmhouse table in these pictures was made for a customer who wanted a very rustic farmhouse look. This particular table was made using a variety of 100 year old solid hardwoods from a wooden scaffolding from St. Benedict's Abbey. It measured 8' x 34", and the top was just over an inch thick. It was constructed using mortise and tenons.
