Privacy Policy – SwapMagic: AI Face Swap
SwapMagic: AI Face Swap ("the app") is an AI-powered photo and video face swap app for adults, made
available by Toolnova ("we", "us", "our"). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect,
how we use it, where it is stored, and how you can contact us about your privacy.
The app is intended only for users aged 18 and over. By downloading, installing, or using the app,
you confirm that you are at least 18 years old and you agree to this Privacy Policy. If you do not
agree, please do not use the app.
1. App permissions and why we need them
The app requests certain permissions so core features work:
• Internet – To load templates and categories, run AI face swap processing on our servers, manage
your creations, subscription status, credits, and other app content.
• Camera and Photos/Media – To let you take a photo or select images and videos from your device
that you want to use for photo face swap or video face swap (including custom video clips).
• Notifications – For app-related messages and updates. You can turn these off in your device
settings.
• Billing – Used by the system for in-app purchases and subscriptions via Google Play; we do not
read or store your payment details.
You can revoke or deny permissions in your device settings; some features may then be unavailable.
2. Information we collect and why
We collect only what is necessary to provide and improve the app.
Photos and images
• Photos you select or take in the app (including face photos for swap and target/reference images)
are sent to our servers for content safety checks and AI processing. We do not use them for
advertising or sell them.
• Generated face swap images may be stored on our systems so you can view them in the app's
"My Creations" gallery. You can delete any creation from the app at any time.
• When you approve a face photo for reuse inside the app, it may be stored so you can select it
again without re-uploading each time.
Videos
• Videos you select for custom video face swap (including trimmed clips) are uploaded to our
servers for AI processing. Video template face swaps use our template video plus your face photo.
Videos are handled the same way as photos and are not used for advertising.
Account and device
• When you use the app, we obtain a device identifier and create or use an authentication token so
we can link your activity to your account (e.g. credits, creations, saved face photos, subscription
status). This data is stored on your device and on our servers. You do not need a username or
password to use the app.
• We may collect basic device information (such as device manufacturer, model, operating system
version, and app package name) when the app connects to our servers.
• We may derive an approximate location (such as city, region, or country) from your IP address when
you use the app. We do not collect precise GPS location.
• If you enable push notifications, we collect and store the push notification token (e.g. FCM
token) so we can send you notifications. You can disable notifications in your device settings.
Subscription and payments
• If you subscribe or make in-app purchases (including credit top-up packs), we receive information
about your subscription and entitlements (e.g. from Google Play and RevenueCat) to manage access and
credits. We do not collect or store your payment card details; payments are processed by Google
Play.
Usage and stability
• We use analytics (e.g. Firebase Analytics) and crash reporting (e.g. Firebase Crashlytics) to
understand how the app is used and to fix errors. This can include information such as app screens
visited, in-app actions, and crash logs. We do not use your photos, videos, or face swap content
for analytics or advertising.
On-device face detection
• The app uses on-device face detection (Google ML Kit) on your device to find and align faces in
photos or video frames. This on-device analysis helps the app prepare your media and runs locally;
only the photo or video you choose is uploaded when you proceed with generation.
Content safety check
• Before face swap processing, photos you select (including face photos used for swap) are checked
for prohibited content (for example, nudity or sexual content) via our server-side moderation.
Content flagged as unsafe is blocked and is not processed further. We do not keep unsafe uploads
longer than needed to perform the check.
Reports
• If you use the in-app report tool (flag icon on templates, categories, results, or creations, or
Flag Content in the app menu), you may select a reason and optionally add a short note. We may
receive the content reference, content type, report reason, and note so our team can review the
content.
Feedback
• If you tap Send Feedback in the app menu, your device email app opens. We only receive
information you choose to send us by email.
Share
• If you share an image, video, or the app using your device share menu, the app does not read or
store what you send through other apps unless you contact us separately.
Advertising
• The app shows ads via Google Mobile Ads (AdMob) to users who are not Premium subscribers. AdMob
may collect data for ad delivery, measurement, and fraud prevention. Your photos, videos, and face
swap content are not used for ad targeting. You can limit ad personalization or reset your
advertising ID in your device settings. Google advertising policy:

Rewarded ads
• Some actions (such as earning credits or removing a watermark) may let you watch a rewarded ad.
This happens only when you choose that action inside the app.
We do not sell your personal information. We do not use your photos, videos, or face swap content
for third-party advertising or marketing.
3. How we use your information
We use the information we collect to:
• Provide photo and video face swap and related features.
• Store and display your creations in the in-app gallery and manage credits, subscriptions, and
top-up purchases.
• Store saved face photos you approve for reuse inside the app.
• Send push notifications if you have allowed them.
• Improve the app (e.g. analytics and crash reports).
• Show ads and measure ad performance (via AdMob) to non-Premium users.
• Operate and secure our services (e.g. authentication, fraud prevention).
• Run content safety checks and respond to reports.
• Comply with law and enforce our terms.
We do not sell your personal information. We do not use your photos, videos, or face swap content
for third-party advertising or marketing.
4. Content safety and moderation
We work to keep SwapMagic respectful and appropriate for adults aged 18 and over. As part of that:
• Photos you select for face swap are checked by our automated nudity / explicit-content moderation
before AI processing takes place. Content flagged as unsafe is blocked and is not processed further.
• We rely on industry-standard machine learning. No automated check is perfect, so we may sometimes
make mistakes in either direction; if you believe a result is wrong, please contact us using the
details in Section 13.
• You are responsible for the photos, videos, and content you submit, and for how you use the
results. Do not use the app to create, upload, or share content that is unlawful, sexually
explicit, that depicts a real person without their consent, or that is harmful, hateful, deceptive,
or infringes the rights of others.
• We block attempts to generate sexual, harassing, or otherwise harmful content, and may suspend or
terminate access for users who repeatedly try to bypass these rules.
• The app includes an in-app reporting tool so you can flag templates, categories, generated
results, or items in My Creations that you believe violate our policies. Reports are reviewed and
can lead to removal of the reported content and restriction of access.
• Generated images and videos may include a label or watermark indicating they were created with
AI. Non-Premium users may see watermarks on downloaded or shared outputs unless removed through a
Premium subscription or a rewarded ad where available.
This safeguard exists to follow Google Play's Sexual Content & Profanity and AI-Generated Content
policies and to protect everyone using the app.
5. How we store your information
On your device
• We store data locally using the app's storage (e.g. authentication token, device identifier,
onboarding state, and paths to images you have selected). Sensitive tokens may be stored using
secure storage on your device. This data stays on your device until you uninstall the app or clear
app data.
On our servers
• Photos and videos you upload for face swap processing are transmitted over the internet to our
servers, used for content safety checks and AI processing, and then handled as described in
Section 6 (retention). Generated images and videos may be stored so you can access them in "My
Creations" until you delete them.
• Account-related data (e.g. token, device token, subscription/entitlement information) is stored
on our systems to provide the service.
Security
• We use industry-standard measures (e.g. encryption in transit) to protect data sent between your
device and our servers. No system is completely secure; we do not guarantee absolute security.
6. How long we keep your information
• Photos and videos used for processing – Removed after processing is complete; we do not keep them
for longer than necessary to deliver the result or perform the safety check.
• Saved face photos – Kept while you use them in the app and until you remove them or stop using
the app, subject to our internal retention practices.
• Generated creations – Kept until you delete them in the app. If you delete a creation, we remove
it from our systems in line with our internal procedures. Download creations to your device if you
want to keep a permanent copy.
• Reports – Kept as long as needed to review and address the report and for safety and compliance.
• Account and subscription data – Retained while you use the app and as needed for legal, tax, or
support purposes.
• Analytics and crash data – Kept in anonymized or aggregated form; retention follows our
providers' policies (e.g. Firebase).
• Ad-related data – Subject to AdMob's retention and your choices (e.g. reset advertising ID in
device settings).
• Push notification token – Kept until you disable notifications or uninstall the app; we may also
remove it when you request account or data deletion.
7. Third-party services
The app uses the following third-party services. Each may collect and process data as described in
its own privacy policy:

We do not control these providers. We encourage you to read their privacy policies.
8. When we share information
We do not sell your personal information. We may share information only:
• With service providers that help us run the app (e.g. hosting, analytics, push notifications,
subscriptions, AI processing) under contracts that limit use and require confidentiality.
• With advertising partners (e.g. AdMob) for ad serving, measurement, and fraud prevention. Your
photos, videos, and face swap content are not shared for their advertising or marketing.
• When required by law or to protect rights, safety, or property, or to enforce our terms.
9. Your choices and rights
You can:
• Delete creations – Use the in-app option to remove any creation from "My Creations"; we will
delete it from our systems as described above.
• Revoke permissions – In your device settings, you can revoke camera, photos/media, or
notifications. Some features may stop working.
• Disable notifications – Turn off push notifications in your device or app settings.
• Limit ad personalization – Use your device settings to limit or reset advertising ID (e.g.
Android: Settings → Google → Ads).
• Cancel subscription – Manage or cancel subscriptions in your Google Play account (Subscription
settings).
If you want to access, correct, or delete your personal data, or have a privacy complaint, contact
us using the details in Section 13, use the in-app Request Data Deletion page (app menu), or visit
https://sites.google.com/view/facemagic-ai-data-deletion. We will respond in line with
applicable law (e.g. within the time required by GDPR or other local laws).
10. Children's privacy
SwapMagic: AI Face Swap is intended only for adults aged 18 and over and is not directed at
children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe we
have collected information from someone under 18, please contact us and we will delete it.
11. International data
Your data may be processed and stored in countries other than your own. We ensure appropriate
safeguards (e.g. contracts, standard contractual clauses) where required by law.
12. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will change the "Last updated" date when we
do. Continued use of the app after changes means you accept the updated policy. For important
changes, we may notify you in the app or by email if we have it.
