Request Data Deletion – SwapMagic: AI Face Swap
This page explains how to request deletion of data associated with SwapMagic: AI Face Swap ("app") on Google Play. The app is made available by Toolnova. If you have questions after reading this page, contact us using the details in Section 9.
1. Who this applies to
This page is for users of SwapMagic: AI Face Swap. The app is published on Google Play and does not use a username/password account. Your activity is linked to your device through a device identifier when you use the app.
2. How to delete data yourself in the app
You can remove some data immediately without contacting us:
My Creations
- Open the app menu → My Creations. Delete any generated photo or video you no longer want stored in the app.
Permissions
- Revoke camera, photos, or notification access in your Android device settings if you no longer want the app to access those features.
Subscriptions
- Cancel an active subscription through your Google Play account. We do not store your payment card details.
3. How to request full data deletion
To request deletion of data linked to your device (including device identifier, credits balance, saved face photos on our servers, and remaining server-side records), follow these steps:
1. Open SwapMagic: AI Face Swap on your device.
2. Open the app menu (drawer).
3. Tap Send Feedback.
4. In your message, write clearly: "Request to delete my data" and include any details that help us locate your records (for example, approximate date you last used the app).
5. Send the message. We will review your request and respond using the contact method you provide in your feedback message.
You may also use the app menu → Flag Content and select an appropriate reason if Send Feedback is unavailable.
You can also open this page anytime from the app menu → Request Data Deletion.
4. What we delete
When we approve a valid deletion request, we delete or anonymize, where applicable:
- Device identifier and associated account data on our servers
- Credits and usage records linked to your device
- Face photos saved for reuse inside the app on our servers
- Generated creations (photos and videos) stored on our servers
- Push notification tokens linked to your device
5. What we may keep (and why)
Some data may be retained for a limited time where required:
- Content safety reports — Kept as long as needed to review the report and for safety and compliance.
- Subscription and transaction records — Retained as needed for billing disputes, fraud prevention, and legal obligations (payment processing is handled by Google Play; we do not store payment card details).
- Anonymized or aggregated analytics — May be retained in a form that no longer identifies you, to improve app stability and performance.
- Server logs — May be retained for a short period for security and troubleshooting, then deleted or anonymized.
6. Automatic deletion (without a request)
- Source photos and videos you upload for processing are removed from our servers after processing is complete.
- Generated creations remain in My Creations until you delete them in the app. Download any creation you want to keep before deleting it from the app.
7. Response time
We aim to respond to legitimate deletion requests within a reasonable period, typically within 30 days, in line with applicable law.
