Manna

Exodus 16:1-3 And they journeyed from Elim, and all the assembly of the children of Israel came to the wilderness of Sin, which is between Elim and Sinai, on the fifteenth day of the second month after their departure out of the land of Egypt. 2 And the whole assembly of the children of Israel murmured against Moses and against Aaron in the wilderness. 3 And the children of Israel said to them, If only we had died by the hand of Jehovah in the land of Egypt, when we sat by the fleshpots, when we ate bread to the full; for you have brought us out into this wilderness to kill this whole congregation with hunger. (cf. vv. 7-9)

John 6:43 Jesus answered and said to them, Do not murmur among yourselves. (cf. Matt. 12:34)

Exodus 16:7 And in the morning you will see the glory of Jehovah, for He hears your murmurings against Jehovah. And what are we, that you murmur against us?

Exodus 16:12 I have heard the murmurings of the children of Israel. Speak to them, saying, At twilight you will eat flesh, and in the morning you will be filled with bread; and you shall know that I am Jehovah your God.

Exodus 16:13-22 And at evening quails came up and covered the camp, and in the morning there was a layer of dew around the camp. 14 And when the layer of dew lifted, there upon the surface of the wilderness were fine round flakes, fine as the frost on the earth. 15 And when the children of Israel saw it, they said to one another, What is it? For they did not know what it was. And Moses said to them, It is the bread which Jehovah has given you to eat

John 6:30-35  They said then to Him, What sign then will You do that we may see and believe You? What work will You do? 31 Our fathers ate the manna in the wilderness, as it is written, "He gave them bread out of heaven to eat." 32 Jesus therefore said to them, Truly, truly, I say to you, Moses has not given you the bread out of heaven, but My Father gives you the true bread out of heaven. 33 For the bread of God is He who comes down out of heaven and gives life to the world. 34 They said therefore to Him, Lord, give us this bread always. 35 Jesus said to them, I am the bread of life; he who comes to Me shall by no means hunger, and he who believes into Me shall by no means ever thirst.

By believing

John 6:29 Jesus answered and said to them, This is the work of God, that you believe into Him whom He has sent.

By coming to Christ

John 6:37 All that the Father gives Me will come to Me, and him who comes to Me I shall by no means cast out.

By coming to the Word

John 6:63  It is the Spirit who gives life; the flesh profits nothing; the words which I have spoken to you are spirit and are life. (cf. Matt. 4:4; Jer. 15:16)

By gathering it morning by morning

Exodus 16:21 And they gathered it morning by morning, each one according to his eating; and when the sun became hot, it melted. (cf. Mark 1:35-37)

Changing our diet

Exodus 16:35 And the children of Israel ate the manna forty years, until they came to inhabitable land; they ate the manna until they came to the border of the land of Canaan.

Corporately and as God commanded

Exodus 16:16 This is what Jehovah has commanded, Gather of it, each one according to his eating; you shall take an omer a head, according to the number of your persons, each one for those who are in his tent
