***I'm teaching MAT 364: Introduction to Number Theory in Galatasaray University this semester***
I enjoy designing new courses and trying new techniques of teaching.
One of my favorite experiences so far have been designing and teaching the semester long Mathematics and Society course in Galatasaray University. Thanks to the freedom offered by our department, we were able to explore how the great ideas of mathematics help us understand the human experience, the relationship between mathematics and literature, mathematics literacy and communication. Some favorite headings from the course listed below:
Lovecraft's Cthulhu and non-Euclidean geometries and
Flatland, Plainiverse and the Fourth Dimension
The Mathematics of Elections
When is a solution a solution? Travelling Salesman and Computability

I also had the chance to teach an Inquiry-Based Category Theory course. A full semester of asking the right questions to lead the students on the discovery of the basic concepts of category theory.
