I am a mathematician, specializing on algebraic and enumerative combinatorics.

I am currently funded by Tübitak 2218 and my host instutition is Galatasaray University.


I completed my PhD in University of Southern California, working on algebraic combinatiorics, under the direction of Prof. Sami Assaf. I worked with symmetric and quasisymmetric functions and Young tableaux, and focusing on type B and C analogues. Afterwards, that I was a postdoctoral fellow in Sabancı University working with Prof. Kağan Kurşungöz on partition identities and a visiting researcher in Royal Institute of Technology, Stockholm working with Prof. Svante Linusson on cyclic sieving where I got the chance to participate in the Algebraic and Enumerative Combinatorics in the amazing Mittag-Leffler Institute.

More recently, I have been working with the wonderfully talented Mohan Ravichandran in Boğaziçi University which was unfortunately cut short- Check Endangered Scholars for details. Then I worked for a while in the Boğaziçi University Computer Engineering for the Molecular Signal Processing in the Circulatory System project of Birkan Yılmaz.


My research interests include: tableaux, permutations statistics, posets and lattices, generating functions, crystal bases, dynamical algebraic combinatorics and combinatorial games.
