Clipboard Sync stores one piece of information on your device:
- API Key: Your authentication credential for your clipboard sync server
2. WHERE DATA IS STORED
- API Key: Stored locally on your device using Chrome's secure storage
- Clipboard Content: Transmitted ONLY to YOUR configured clipboard sync server
3. WHO HAS ACCESS
- You have full control of your data
- The extension can only access your local Chrome storage
- Data only syncs to YOUR server (which you control)
- Anthropic/Google have NO access to your clipboard data
4. HOW WE USE DATA
- API Key: Used to authenticate with your clipboard sync server
- Clipboard Content: Synced between your devices via your server
- NO tracking, analytics, or telemetry
5. DATA RETENTION
- API Key: Stored until you manually delete it
- Clipboard History: Stored on YOUR server; you control retention
6. THIRD PARTIES
- NO third parties have access to your data
- NO data is sold or transferred
- Extension communicates ONLY with your configured server
7. SECURITY
- API credentials are stored securely in Chrome storage
- Clipboard sync uses HTTPS encryption
- No passwords or sensitive data are logged
8. YOUR RIGHTS
- You can delete your API key anytime (Settings)
- You control your sync server and all data on it
- You can stop using the extension at any time
9. CHANGES TO THIS POLICY
Updates will be released with new extension versions.
