We have trails with lengths 0.3 k, 0.6 k, 1.5 k, 2.5 k, 5.5 k and 7.5 k. These trails are used for classic skiing, skate skiing and snowshoeing. Skiers follow the tails in a counterclockwise direction. Snowshoers follow the trails in a clockwise direction. Using this protocol snowshoers can see skiers approaching and can step to the side of the trail. Skiers always have the right of way. Snowshoers should not step on the set track which is used by skiers.
We also have a separate snowshoe trail that is used in the summer as a mountain bike trail. The snowshoe starts at the eastern corner of the stadium area in front of the Chalet. Currently the snowshoe trail winds through the woods around the 1.5k, 2.5k and 5.5k loops. There are many exit points going between the ski trail and the snowshoe trail.
LED street lights have been installed on the 1.5 k and 2.5 k ski trails The lights are on every night that conditions allow until 10pm. The snowshoe trail is not lit.
