Ski trails are groomed with a track on the right for classic skiing and a wide flat area on the left for skate skiing.
Skiers travel around the trails in a counter-clockwise direction.
Skiers always have the right-of-way.
Slower skiers move aside to allow faster skiers to pass. Faster skiers yell "TRACK" as they approach slower skiers.
Snowshoers may use the snowshoe trail or the ski trail.
Snowshoers travel the ski trails in a clockwise direction.
Snowshoers walk in single file on the right side of the trail and always step aside when they see skiers approaching.
Snowshoers should use extra caution when crossing a trail or at the bottom of a hill.
Snowshoers should not step on the set track which is used by skiers.
