Training Method:
Training can take place either at the client's workplace or if the client prefers and there are 3 or more trainees, at Taranaki Chamber of Commerce's conference room (an additional fee is applicable for the hire of the room).
Clients use their own PC laptops/ computers (check first if using a Mac) and Excel or Word software. (Tablets/iPads and Excel/Word apps. are not suitable)
My training method rests on the following principles:
An initial free visit to the client to establish the needs of the trainees/business.
Determine the skill level of the trainees.
Develop a training program.
Introduce and explain each topic with the aid of summary notes and relevant examples.
Allow for hands-on practice of the skills using authentic examples.
The training takes place in an active workshop context with interaction and questions encouraged.
Apply the skills learned to the business’s context.
Throughout the process, careful monitoring and feedback is used to reinforce the learning.
Follow-up email support for a specific time after training allows for consolidation of skills learned to be applied in new situations.
Rates:
The basic rate is $85 per hour per person which includes initial 30 minute free assessment, if needed, design of course, detailed summary notes and four weeks of email support if needed.
