Who We Are
Who We Are
Every Ability Counts was created by two Girl Scout Leaders hoping to bring the Girl Scout Experience to more girls! Founded in 2025, we have provided programming, training and experiences to girls throughout the state of Kentucky.
Stacy Faraci is the mother to a daughter with multiple disabilities. She was a Girl Scout as a child, but refound her love for Girl Scouts through her journey with her daughter. She runs troop 2582, the only troop in Central Kentucky exclusively for girls with disabilities. She feels passionate about supporting girls in the disability community and making spaces where girls can feel safe and included among their peers.
Denise Lewis is a mother and advocate for children with special needs. She has been involved in the disability community for nearly two decades, fiercely advocating for her children and children like hers. She is the troop leader for Troop 7086 which she has faithfully led for 14 years. Troop 7086 is a multi-level troop that is inclusive of both typically developing girls as well as girls with disabilities.
Andrea "Spanda" Lewis is the co-leader of Troop 2582. Andrea is a recent graduate and recipient of the Bronze, Silver and Gold Award. She began her leadership journey several years ago when fate brought her and Stacy together at a day camp, where Andrea served as Stacy's Program Assistant. Since then, Andrea has become deeply involved in supporting girls with disabilities, like herself, and mentoring many others on their path with leadership.
