At Everglow Youth, our mission is to empower young people through workshops and intervention packages. We also aim to Empower professionals who work with children and young people by providing high-quality professional development and training programs.
We aim to enhance the skills and knowledge of educators, caregivers, and youth workers to ensure they can offer the best support and guidance. Additionally, we are dedicated to fostering awareness and resilience in young people through engaging and informative sessions that address their unique challenges and opportunities. Our commitment is to create a brighter, more informed future for both the professionals who serve youth and the young people themselves.
we also provide 1-2-1 coaching and mentoring for professionals who work with children and young people. Emily also provides this for young people who are looking to begin working with children in a range of capacities from supporting in a club or activity to babysitting for family and friends. Sessions for Professionals
This training equips professionals with the knowledge and tools to support the mental health and well-being of children and adolescents, covering key topics like mental health legislation, common issues, and risk factors. Participants will learn to identify warning signs and implement effective prevention and intervention strategies to create supportive environments for young people.
County lines and child criminal exploitation training teaches professionals to identify, prevent, and respond to the exploitation of young people by criminal networks. It covers signs of exploitation, and effective intervention strategies, and emphasises collaboration and safeguarding practices to protect vulnerable individuals.
Safeguarding children and young people's training equips professionals with skills to recognise signs of abuse, fulfil legal responsibilities, and implement protective measures. It emphasises collaboration and proactive intervention to ensure the safety and well-being of vulnerable individuals.
Facilitating difficult conversations with young people training equips professionals with skills to navigate sensitive topics effectively. Participants learn strategies for creating safe environments, building trust, and encouraging open dialogue on issues like mental health and relationships. The training emphasises active listening, empathy, and cultural sensitivity to support young people's emotional and developmental needs.
An Introduction to Working in Youth Work settings course (An Intro) to support those working with young people be prepared for their role and raise the quality of provision across the county through standardised training.
Prevent Duty training in the UK educates professionals on identifying and responding to signs of radicalisation and extremism. It covers the legal responsibilities under the Counter-Terrorism and Security Act 2015, recognising indicators of radicalisation, and implementing Prevent-related policies. Emphasis is placed on community engagement, risk assessment, and collaborative approaches to safeguard vulnerable individuals and promote social cohesion.
Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs) training educates professionals on identifying and understanding the lasting impacts of childhood trauma. It emphasises trauma-informed approaches to support children and families, aiming to mitigate negative effects and promote resilience.
Session for young people
Our session on mental health for young people addresses common issues like anxiety and depression, emphasising stigma reduction, self-care, and seeking support. It teaches practical strategies for managing emotions, building resilience, and accessing resources to prioritise well-being.
In our session for young people on wellbeing and mindfulness, participants learn techniques like stress management, relaxation, and mindfulness through breathing and meditation. The focus is on building resilience and improving mental and emotional health.

In this programme we look at using sports and physical activity to build team work and personal development.
This award is all about you taking part in activities – or challenges, as we like to say. You could organise anything from a joining a local sports team to helping to set up a music festival in your community. It’s completely up to you!
