As a Youth Worker, you are an integral part of providing assistance to disadvantaged and ‘at risk’ young people. Whether it’s developing and implementing specialised programs and services, providing crisis counselling or simply offering family support, completing our courses will give you all the skills and knowledge you need to expand within the community working with children and young people.                                                                      Our interactive training workshops are designed to develop the practical youth work skills essential for effectively supporting young people aged 11-19 outside  a building-based environment. With the aims of inclusion and anti-oppressive practice central throughout, they are ideal for anyone including volunteers, part time and full-time staff.                                                                                                                                                                Detached youth work has long been recognised as a good way to engage at risk and vulnerable young people that do not engage in other services.
