Twilight - book cover redesign

Redesigned a book cover of choice using only typography, focusing on creative type treatment to convey the book’s theme and tone.

The book cover I chose to redesign is Twilight by Stephenie Meyer. I selected this cover because the book is widely popular, offering many opportunities to experiment with typography and creative manipulation.

For my design, I transformed the letters in the word Twilight into the shape of an apple—an iconic symbol from the books and movies. The author's name is also warped into an apple shape, serving as a shadow. Additionally, I created free-flowing branches by manipulating and resizing the letter “I,” while the moon is subtly represented by the letter “O.”
