70's style playing cards

For the design of these playing cards, I chose to focus on a topic that truly intrigues me—the 1970s decade and its distinctive style. To develop this concept, I researched the most popular items, fashion trends, and iconic figures from that era.

I incorporated classic 70s elements such as a mustache, a rotary phone, platform heels, a retro TV, a disco ball, and legendary figures like David Bowie, Elvis Presley, Farrah Fawcett, and Freddie Mercury.

The color palette—turquoise and burnt orange—strongly represents the aesthetic of the time. These two colors provide excellent contrast, allowing me to experiment with different tints and create dynamic color combinations throughout the design.
