This is my outline for an American history unit! The units are divided into multiple lessons that all correspond with a key concept for that unit. The units include background and introduction, mentions of what is taking place, and how this impacts individuals differently. Here, the focus is on the period of colonization. End goals for the students as well as the learning objectives that match those of the North Carolina Standards are described. These objectives match those outlined in the Curriculum Map.
