Mr. Brandon Brune

Mr. Brune is honored to serve as the Director of Choral and Theatrical Activities at Evans High School. A seasoned actor, musician, and director, Mr. Brune has over a hundred combined performance and directorial credits to his name, and has worked directly with such Broadway talents as Olivier Award-winner, Lesli Margherita, and Tony nominee, Lauren Worsham. He believes that the role of the actor, technician, or designer is to engage in collaborative storytelling with their audience, creating opportunities for genuine empathy, catharsis, and connection. More importantly, Mr. Brune’s philosophy is rooted in a classroom environment that emphasizes professional ethics, utilizes mistakes to accelerate growth, and creates an atmosphere of unfailing kindness. When he is not teaching, Mr. Brune can be found enjoying a strategy board game, reading, or debating the finer points of nerd culture. He is most grateful for his real-life costars: his beautiful wife, Rebecca; his adoring children, Roland and Rosalie; his cats, Dobby and Frankie; and one particularly grumpy fish, Ebenezer. He is looking forward to another exciting Roundtable Players season!
