Hello! My name is Eva Estrada and I am a freshman in high school. I am dual-enrolled at Early College High School at Midland College, currently pursuing an engineering pathway. My interests are at the intersection of biology and space, usually being space medicine and astrobiology. Thus, I have conducted microbiology research in relation to the effects of herbicides on the gut microbiome, going on to win at science fairs and present at university symposiums. I have also attended and spoken at multiple space conferences as a representative of the nonprofit Higher Orbits, including AIAA ASCEND in 2025 and 2026, as well as the IAA Space Traffic Management Conference in 2025. I have also kickstarted an AIAA chapter at my local community college in which I am the High School President. Beyond STEM, I am a passionate leader, holding positions such as Class President for two years in a row, school ambassador, student council member, and Superintendent's Student Advisory Board Member.
