Europe Culture Hunt

The project "Europe Culture Hunt" started as an eTwinning project and was turned into an Erasmus+ project. 2018 was the year dedicated to Cultural Heritage and, accordingly, we also encouraged our students to raise cultural awareness for, and enhance their own sense of, European citizenship via our eTwinning project.

European citizenship requires developing a positive attitude and increasing awareness of the cultural, historical, and traditional knowledge of neighbouring or remote countries in Europe. That is the reason for another fundamental point of the project, to aptly position our students so they may gain higher cultural awareness while also fostering and securing their own cultural elements. Therefore, schools from Spain, Italy, Turkey, Romania, and Poland are involved in this project to share cultural values and learn about different cultures.

The main aim of the project is to overcome the cultural, social, and religious differences that could hinder the harmonious cohabitation and development of the new generation. An additional goal is to provide participants with insight into the significance of their European cultural heritage via education, lifelong learning, impersonal learning, sports, social equality, logical thinking, and youth interaction. The project will address cultural diversity and enable the development of common values, equality, non-discrimination, and social inclusion. This can be achieved through the project's common activities for students from countries with distinct traditions, customs, and culture.

During the project there will be six short-term exchanges of student groups featuring training sessions. These training events will be held respectively in Turkey, Spain, Italy, Turkey, Romania, and Poland. Learning Teaching Training activities will provide all participants with improved communication and collaboration skills, greater digital skills, and heightened awareness of different cultures.
