Student Involvement and Collaboration
Collaboration with student researchers has always been an essential part of advancing meaningful scholarship and fostering innovation. I have actively engaged students in my research, providing opportunities to gain hands-on experience while contributing to ongoing projects.
At present, I do not have formal research opportunities available for students. However, I strongly encourage student researchers to take initiative by brainstorming independent ideas and drafting proposals for research grants. I am always open to discussing potential projects, offering feedback, and exploring avenues for future collaboration.
Above all, I warmly welcome innovative research ideas and collaborative partnerships that support the lab’s mission of connecting communities and coasts through economic research and extension, with a focus on advancing the economics of coastal and marine resource management.
