I hold the position of Coastal Economic Specialist at the University of Georgia Marine Extension and Georgia Sea Grant. Prior to this role, I served as a post-doctoral research associate at the University of Maryland, College Park. 

I completed my doctoral work in Coastal Resources Management (Economics Track) at East Carolina University. I received my MS degree in Agricultural Economics from Mississippi State University and a BA Economics degree from the University of Cape Coast, Ghana. 


My research pursuits encompass a variety of interests, notably the economics of adapting to and mitigating natural hazards, assessing non-market values, conducting benefit-cost analyses, evaluating economic impacts, and promoting ecosystem-based management.

The core focus of my research endeavors lies in developing conceptual frameworks and assessment tools that contribute to the advancement of integrated management and evaluation of coastal resources.
