From September to December of 2025, Ethan worked in a business consultant role on two teams in the College Capstone in Game Development class at Champlain College. As a business consultant, Ethan was tasked with creating a variety of plans for the game should it be green-lit.
One game was Moratity, where the player controlled a giant ball of rats. Taking place in medieval times, players can decide whether the ball spares the citizens of a town or causes destruction in its wake. All the while, a narrator calls out every decision, with unique lines coming from each choice.
The other game was Heart of the Cards. Players go on dates with a character of their choosing, with unique likes and dislikes. Players build a deck of cards, composed of colors representing different tones of action, such as blue for frosty, green for nerdy, and orange for awkward. Alongside the occasional flirt and answering their partner's questions, players must keep the love meter high and cringe meter low to win over their date.
The creation of someone who teams would like to market their product towards. By sorting out age, career, personality and brands, Ethan worked to make the kind of player that is a perfect fit for each game.
