Life is precious and sacred. While we obviously can't agree on exactly when it starts, we all agree that it must be protect at all costs.
When it comes to women's health and their reproductive rights, let's let those decisions stay between her and her doctor(s).
Reproductive rights are about way more than just abortions; they're about her body as a whole. When it comes to the process and time frame of giving birth, we need to give mothers-to-be all of the support that we can (especially during the pregnancy itself and right after birth).
Giving mothers-to-be support includes letting them decide for themselves (with counsel from their spouse if they're married) whether or not to have children.
Having a family is a time-intensive but worthy and cherished commitment (a goal and personal value for many of us), and we as a society have the inherent duty to provide all the assistance that we can to families (traditional and non-traditional family structures).

When it comes to abortions, let's not put strict bans in place. Let's let the mother decide with the advice of her doctor (and the advice of God, if she worships Him).
*Specific legislation I would support:
The proposed Reproductive Freedom and Privacy Act is a perfect example of legislation I would support as a member of the State Legislature.
Currently, it's likely going to appear on the November 3rd, 2026 ballot as a ballot initiative. I sincerely hope it passes. However, if it doesn't pass, I will still support legislation identical or similar to it.
