Idaho's Constitution grants us the right to ballot initiatives, which provide an extra measure for us to ensure that our laws and government work how we want them to.
Yes, there are times where the results of our ballot initiatives come into conflict with the votes and actions of our state legislature. Thankfully, we have our state judicial system to solve those kinds of issues, and often our state legislature is able to work out those differences.
Additionally, ballot initiatives provide another way for us to get the results they want and need if the legislature doesn't vote how we want it to.
Let's protect our right to ballot initiatives.

Also, our Secretary of State does a fabulous job of ensuring that all initiatives/referendums only get onto the ballot after they meet the necessary requirements.
That helps make it extremely difficult for anyone that wants to play dirty with our ballots.
It also helps ensure that we aren't overwhelmed with initiatives when we go to the polls to vote.
